Kerry's Guitar Shop offers 27 years of building, repair and restoration experience. Owned and operated by Kerry Cash. He began as a luthier in 1980, working for Bruce Sconzert. Bruce owned and operated Longhorn Guitars. Bruce, being an excellent luthier himself, passed on his knowledge. Kerry had training in custom guitar building and repair along with other stringedinstruments. From 1984-1986 he was employed at Schecter Guitars. Kerry was shop supervisor, doing setups, quality control, and a few scalloped necks for Mr. Yngwie Malmsteen. In 1986 he returned to Longhorn Guitars as a repairman. In 1992 Longhorn Guitars became Players Music, home of Longhorn Guitars. Now, in 2007, Kerry has decided to open his own shop. Kerry is also a Buzz Feiten Retrofitter and offers Martin Guitar Warrant Service. Kerry respects the musicianÕs need for a great playing instrument. He has had the honor of working with many fine musicians and their instruments.
